The Kooks put their heart and soul into the indie rock scene with their wistful and pop like tunes. The band combines their influence of surf soul, British pop and classic reggae to create songs that make you want to dance and smile.

The Kooks were signed only four months after they began their group in in 2006 to Virgin Records. Their first album called Inside In/ Inside Out was an eventual success where it was named platinum in the UK, Australia, and Ireland. They garnered global attention when they won best UK Act at the 2006 MTV Music Awards. There sophomore album "Konk" was released in 2008 where is was number in the UK after its initial release. They have just released their thirst album in early September 'Junk of the Heart."

This Brighton based band got their start performing The Strokes's "Reptilia" at a local festival concert tour. Now they have grown into an internationally acclaimed band that has toured the globe.
