The Arctic Monkeys are an English indie style rock band. This band was developed in Sheffield, England and it went from there. There are four band members: Nick O'Malley, Jamie Cook, Matt Helders, and Alex Turner. Alex Turner is the lead vocalist and lead guitarist, Jamie Cook is the rhythm guitar and does backing vocals, Nick O'Malley is the bass guitarist and does backing vocals, and Matt Helders is the drummer/percussionist and he also does backing vocals. This rock band has released four albums which include: Whatever People Say I am, That's What I'm Not; Favourite Worst Nightmare; Humbug; and Suck It And See. They also have done a live album which is named At The Apollo. The English indie style rock band have done a great tour for each and ever one of their albums and have become more popular around the world for their music as time progressed and more albums came out. They have played in various places in the US and in the UK, known and widely loved by rock band lovers. It made the top charts in the UK, putting Lady Gaga in third place and them up to first. They are so popular, in fact, that they sell hundreds of thousands of albums in the first week of release. They are one of the most successful and memorable rock bands next to the beatles.
